In order to further enhance the legal awareness and self-protection ability of the elderly to protect their rights and interests in accordance with the law, and to safeguard their legitimate rights and interests, on the morning of July 10, 2024, the Second Party Branch of Guangdong Qiyuan Law Firm led and the Youth League Branch organized some young lawyers to carry out public welfare and legal activities at the Guangzhou Elderly Respect and Recreation Association.

The event was led by Lawyer Fan Linjun, Discipline Committee Member of the Party General Branch and Secretary of the Second Party Branch. He gave a lecture on the topic of "Protection of Elderly Rights and Interests" and explained the detailed provisions on inheritance and wills in the Civil Code to the elders of the association based on real cases. He also answered various questions raised by everyone on site. Lawyer Fan Linjun's courseware is in line with the focus of elderly people's attention, with easy to understand explanations and enthusiastic responses, and has received unanimous praise from the association's elders and neighbors.

This event also arranged for lawyers Fan Xiaojun, Zhou Huamei, Ke Ke, and Zhang Zifang from the Zhicheng Worry Free Lawyer team to provide one-on-one free legal consultation services for the elderly, answering various legal questions for them.
